My weekend was filled with Southern Floridaness. My brother and his wife had a casino themed party on Saturday. Since this was the last time I'll be able to see my brother, whom is a hero to me, for a very long time because I'm moving to Philadelphia, my mom made it a point for us to make it there.

After 8 hours of driving around and finally finding a motel, we settle in to the Dragon Inn in hopes of reaching peaceful sleep. I come up with the bright idea of smoking pot, and she gave me a xanax. I was sure I was going to fall asleep. Alas, the quality time got to the best of us and we stayed up until 9 smoking the green talking about anything you wouldn't imagine being discussed between a mother and her daughter.

Saturday was my sister-in-laws birthday, so her and my brother threw a party. We made it to their house two hours before the party started and knew that we were on a roll (bad luck likes to come our way quite often). Now Stacey, she likes to go all out for her parties. It seems like they could have easily spent $500 just on decorations. There hung a banner when you pull into the drive way displaying "STACEY'S CASINO PARTY" accompanied by a red carpet.

Things started moving socially faster and everyone was getting their drink on. Now, my brother hadn't planned on my moving so early and the party was for adults [Stacey turned 37(maybe, I guess)], so I ended up the youngest one there, seperated from everyone there by at least a decade. Finally in the end, I wound up drunk on gin and tonics (it's my candy) and had a "nice" heartfelt talk with my brother.

These are pictures from Saturday morning. I went to the beach since I couldn't sleep and dipped my feet into the Atlantic Ocean. Yummies!

The sky was grey and there was mist coming from above, but I couldn't have felt any better about things.

This trash can I watched for 30 minutes traveling in an out of the water. I did something like this when it got a little later and a little warmer and I went out into the water. Also not sneaking on to a private beach.

I sat on the sea wall of this house for a while doing things you do when you have time to do anything.

So I like being a girl. What's it to ya?

This was my final stop on the private beach. As you can probably tell, it was a pricey little area. On the left is a sculpture of an eighth note, so it caught my eye. There was a guy inside that I could make the silhouette out of. I started dancing around and acting childish, but I wasn't sure if he was looking or not.

I surely enjoyed myself.

so this guy i work with needed a ride home tonight, so i took him home. on the way, i aked if he smoked pot, and he did, so i asked him if he wanted to, and he said sure. now, this guy is alright hanging around at work. he can't read, but if he has the extra headset, he's pretty good. beside that, he'll stay til close if i offer him a ride home so i don't have to make food.

anyways

we get to his house, and he offers his porch to smoke on. he invistes me in to meet his mom, but i took one step inside and it smelled like shit. needless to say, i decided against that. he had a bunch of animals roaming around.

he told me at work today that he was from west virginia, where there's a lot of hillbillies, and that he stole a car for kicks at the age of seven. i assume that's why he can't read.

after i start to bring out the last of my weed, his mom came out and sat down on the last remaining worn out recliner. she talked of remodeling their house, of the "nice people" that are this kid's friends, and how i'm defintely invited back. all the while watching the bowl travel to her and to her son, her dad in the back just correcting her.

their grammer was awful, but i tried not to pay attetion. finally after the second time of announcing my leave, i made my way into my car, took a deep breath and drove away.

so yesterday was the first 4/20 i've celebrated since eighth grade with joe.
fernando is staying here now.
jesse got rejected by the air force because of a charge of paraphernalia seven years ago.
i went to work high for the first time yesterday and smoked some kid out on break. he ended up passing out or something and got fired because "we do the job sober."
